Transfer a .ro domain to Chroot from another registrar
To transfer a .ro domain from another registrar to Chroot, you must first access http://rotld.ro/domadmin/.
Log in to the domain administration interface (if you forgot your password, you can reset it by visiting https://www-apps.rotld.ro/domadmin2/cgi-bin/pwrec?lang=ro).
Click on the "Authorization Keys" tab > "Transfer to another registrar".
Click to obtain the domain transfer key for moving the domain to another registrar.
You will receive confirmation that the transfer authorization key has been sent to your contact email address.
At the contact email address registered with RoTLD, you will receive an email containing the domain transfer key for moving the domain to another registrar.
Access https://www.chroot.ro/transfer-domeniu to transfer the domain.
IMPORTANT:
- The domain will be transferred to Chroot exactly as it is, without modifying the owner details or the nameservers.
- The free transfer does not include domain renewal.
- For renewal, you will be invoiced by Chroot 14 days before the domain expires. You can renew your domains in advance from your client account.
