RIPE Services Billing Update – Invoices Issued on 15 January 2026

We would like to inform you about the billing method for services involving RIPE resources (IP addresses and AS numbers), as well as the changes that will apply starting in 2026.

The fees charged by RIPE NCC are annual and are paid in the first half of January each year, regardless of the month in which the services were initially activated or purchased.

For this reason, starting in 2026, we have decided to align all invoices for RIPE resources (IP addresses and AS numbers) so that they are issued on 15.01.2026 for all customers who hold:

• IP addresses (IPv4, IPv6) (PI / PA)
• AS numbers (Autonomous System)

This rule applies even in cases where, for example, a customer paid for these services in September 2025. According to RIPE rules, billing is strictly annual and is not correlated with the month in which the service was purchased.

RIPE costs applicable for 2026

According to current estimates and the trend of increasing RIPE fees, the following costs will apply for 2026:

• 50 EUR – one-time registration fee
• 100 EUR / year – maintenance for an AS number
• 75 EUR / year – for each /24 PA subnet — unchanged
• 100 EUR / year – for each /24 PI subnet

These costs are set by RIPE NCC and may be adjusted annually based on official updates published by the organization.

Why this change is necessary

• to avoid proration and differences in billing periods between customers
• to ensure full transparency regarding annual costs
• to maintain compliance with RIPE NCC rules
